In this article we will explore several possibilities that will explain why your WordPress website is taking a long time to be created.
Whenever a new WordPress site is being deployed, there are a number of dependencies that go into making the installation successful.
We’ve outlined the list below to give you a starting point on things to check if this happens.
The payment didn’t go through
Check that the payment was received under the Billing tab within the Dapp details page.
- Make sure you’re logged into Flux Cloud
- Click on Dapps
- Your Dapp would say Pending Payment if the payment wasn’t successful
If you are seeing this message, please refer to our help article My payment didn’t go through, what do I do?
A bad node is causing the site not to be deployed
Things happen, and there are sometimes the rare occurrence you might encounter when a node goes bad during a deployment. However, we have protocols in place that should automatically detect this and spin up a new code for your WordPress install within minutes.
To check if a node is bad, you will want to open up the Dapps detail page and review the list of nodes in your list. You can click on the Diagnostics tab and see a list of the current nodes.
As you can see in the example above, there are two nodes that are in question. Either node can be either stuck, or just completely down.
Please wait up to 30 min to see if the issue resolves itself. Most of the time it will, but in the event it doesn’t, you can read our article on How to restart or remove a node from your cluster.
